It is an ok start, but your land needs fixing. 29 is not enough and you dont really have any ramp at all or any mana fixing per say. Black Market and Darksteel Ingot are fine, but not enough.

I would also say that this is tribal, and edgars eminence ability is very good even while sitting in the command zone. With that being said you need more tribal support and vamps. Edgar wants to pump and go face or go aristocrats and kill with things like impract tremors or purphoros.

Cards you cut IMO are Kaya, Orzhov Usurper, Sorin Vengeful Bloodlord, Lilliana of the Dark Realms, Whip of Erebos, Bontu's Monument, Kaya's Ghostform, Kindred Boon, Sunbirds Invocation, The Eldest Reborn, Act of treason, Consume Spirit, Corrupt, Death Grasp, Entreat the Dead, Tempt with Immortality, Tendrils of Agony, Unearth, God Eternal Oketra, & Massacre Girl.

I know that list is long but those cards add little to no value, and you want things to say similar to the vampire theme that gear towards your gameplay. Unfortunetally this deck didnt really have a focus which is fine you have a good base just need to focus it more. But first thing is fix mana then add more tribal and focus.

Edgar is the main commander I play and I love vampires. I also have a deck list and I work on his all the time and M20 was a great new set so I added a couple of cards I will add when they release. Here is my deck list if you want to take any ideas and I have you and upvote because I love seeing other people build vamps! (edit my hyperlink isnt working so you may need to click on my profile to get to my vamp decklist if you want to view it.

championeggo thank you for commenting. I'll check out your deck list once I pull some cards out of mine. My question in response to your comment, though, is why remove the vampiric cards? Specifically Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord , Corrupt + Tendrils of Agony , and Consume Spirit + Death Grasp

Those cards are very singular. They do not say "opponents" cards like Exsanguinate and things like that are great and there are alot. Sorin is ok but his +1 is 1 ping something, and really you would want to minus him instantly to bring back something 4 cmc or lower to the battlefield. Just seems weak IMO. But like I said you want cards that target multiples or do much more damage than the ones that do a bit here and there. The reason blood tribute is good is because if you are low it will increase your lifetotal again. If sanguine bond is out at the same time its a bonus, but its rare unless you tutor for it.

I'm trying to get my hands on Exquisite Blood and Exsanguinate . You had a couple of beautiful vamps that I'd love to include in my deck, as well. What are your thoughts on including Mikaeus, the Unhallowed ?

Mikaeus is great, but he’s another 6 CMC card. Your CMC average is already pretty high. I see you did do a little land fixing. But with your average CMC cost this deck may hit a few bumps. Edgar runs better when you cater too his aggro build but have some longevity to him. My meta I play in is aggro early, and late game purphoros and go face for the win. You have a good base!!! but still needs a little more focusing and quite a few cards I think that can be cut for better things that help with your game plan.
