To the store! —Jan. 8, 2014
Went off to the local shop recently to pick up a few things. Will be updating the list after I add in some of the cards and run some tests.
Picked up:
Survival of the Fittest - Hallelujah! One finally showed up, fauna shaman goodbye, hello faster tutor.
Windswept Heath - The fetch cycle is complete, one of the other lands will come out, I'll have to fiddle to decide which.
Privileged Position - Another card that has just been difficult to locate, hopefully a great protection card. I'm thinking I might either take out path or swords to fit it in. Would rather protect than destroy I think.
Creatures:
Spearbreaker Behemoth - I used to play him I miss the cheap protection for my fatties. He gets another chance.
Twilight Shepherd - Seen her in other lists, there's a lot of removal in my playgroup so the recursion might be nice.
Scourge of Kher ridge - It's a big dragon that blows things up. I like that.
Blazing Archon - A suggested card, I like protection, he's worth a shot
Iona, Shield of Emeria - I'm not here to play nice, Iona is not nice. Will see how the table reacts but she just such a strong card. A good couple mono colours decks will be sad to see this.
That's all for now. As I said I will test taking cards in and out to slot in most of these and once I'm feeling a little happier I'll post an updated list and show what came out for what.

Blazing archon I have actually been considering playing, just haven't found one locally or a slot for it.
I actually LOVE Boros battleshaper but I tend to play in really large games most of the time and I took him out because it was becoming a chore for myself and an a annoyance for my play group to have me micro managing the combat step. In smaller groups he slots in sometimes.
It that betrays I left out more because I see it a lot from some of the other local decks and am not a fan of it on the other side of the table.
The sun titan I have as a way to get back some small key things. He gets any fetches or dropped/destroyed lands, gets back most all of my smaller stuff as well as a good degree of my ramp and top deck manipulation like top/rack/library.I find him to be a really solid card but I can see how he could be something else. My playgroup has a good suite of removal so my noncreatures sometimes don't last that long, I've never really been sad to see sun titan but if something existed that filled a similar recursion role other than angel of serenity then he would get swapped pretty fast.

I play a similar list to what you do but 3 creatures that I find very fun/effective would be blazing archon, it that betrays and boros battleshaper. btw what is the sun titan in your deck for? Just in case they kill one of your artifacts or something?
