This deck is actually so good. It plays pretty much all the best cards except for Brainstorm , Force of Will and Deathrite Shaman . I feel that Hymn to Tourach (a massively underplayed card), and Lingering Souls makes up for it though. This is impressive.

Who carries the swords?

Thanks chicagobearz, it's usually a Spirit token that will end up carrying a sword, but it's often whomever's available.

How does Grim Lavamancer and Basilisk Collar combo well? His direct damage won't kill large creatures with Deathtouch right?

You could also potentially go: -2 Liliana of the Veil -1 Oblivion Ring +3 Vindicate

Liliana only kills creaturesk and I think we have a wrap on that aspect. Oblivion Ring doesn't kill land and also gives your opponent a chance to get their permanent back. Vindicate kills everything. It bumps up your disruption package combined with Wasteland in situations where your opponent is hit with a little mana screw. Also good in Counterbalance match ups and any match up with threatening artifacts and enchantments.

I've ran Vindicate, but switched it to Oblivion Ring entirely as a nod to Show and Tell decks. I think 1 vindicate main, 1 O Ring side will be where I end up. Liliana does not only kill creatures, her discard is pretty integral to the game plan.
