Increasing Devotion -> Sandwurm Convergence: I recently took apart my Rhonas the Indomitable deck, and freeing up my copy of Convergence. Devotion was a reasonable cut, as I'm trying to keep the deck away from making tokens that are just 1/1s with no evasion/abilities. While it was occasionally quite good due to the sheer number of bodies it produced, I think the worms (wurms?) and protection from fliers will be more valuable.

Return to Dust -> Beast Within: More flexible instant speed removal.

Spirit Bonds -> Grow from the Ashes: Deck needed more ramp, and Bonds doesn't really work when your deck has less than 20 non-token creatures.

Aetherflux Reservoir -> Path of Discovery: Reservoir just got the playgroup banhammer, and I am both proud and ashamed to say its performance in this deck was the reason for that. It was never a simple lifegain card, but I would hold onto it until I was over 100 life and could either immediately win the game or take out two players and still be in an extremely advantageous position. It was dirty, it was a one-card wincon, and it was glorious. That said, I completely understand why it was causing salt, and am okay letting it go. Path lets creatures get larger and helps improve our topdecks.
