I have officially retired this deck.

I updated a couple things with Return to Ravnica, and I'm very happy with it. My current Type 2 deck is deck:bant-angelblinkcontrol, if you'd like to help me there I'd really appreciate it, thanks :D

Essence harvest is unnecessary and you should replace bonds of faith with like arrest.

Tybalt I personally love the Essence Harvest in here; if I can swing for half their life at any given time with it in my hand it's an easy game-winner. And the Bonds of Faith are in there for the Knights. When going against a human deck I definitely trade them out for Pacifism s.

Kokumotsu I have a couple Angelic Benediction s, I used to use them actually. I would have them in here, just not sure what to take out.

Bonds of faith doesnt work on the knight of infamy... i suppose essence harvest is alright here. I use disciple of bolas

Tybalt Could you please explain how it doesn't work with Infamy? Is it because he's also a Knight in addition to being a Human? And Disciple of Bolas was considered, but Essence Harvest is just too easy to abuse with exalted.

Knight of Infamy has protection from white... Bonds of Faith ... is white.

Would a Silverblade Paladin be a good fit? Invisible stalker with doublestrike would be a pretty badass threat.

thebeardedshuffler I've definitely thought about it, but I havent really gone out of my way to get them. It would be nice, but I really like how things work out right now :)

when you get to return to ravnica, get Detention Sphere , Hallowed Fountain , (Jace, Architect of Thought for defence and as a target), Martial Law , card:Sphinx's Revelation, Supreme Verdict for the control.

I'd add 2 swamps and cut 1 islands, just to be safe; you've got a lot of U-producing dual-lands, but most your only spells that require a colour commitment of 2 are black ones (Murder and Vampire Nighthawk , both of which are excellent cards that you probably want to be able to play easily).

Also, if you took my land suggestion, you'd be at 61 cards; I know you can probably afford to have fewer lands in a deck like this, but I don't think you want to go quite as low as 21 in a deck that doesn't have any alternate mana-producers. I'm sure you could probably find 1 card to cut, but I'm not sure which; that said, I'd rather run a 61 card deck with a bit more consistent manabase than a 60 card deck where the odds of getting a swamp when you need one aren't quite so good. (I'm also guessing you don't want to foot the bill to buy another dual land; those guys are expensive)
