Hmmm, I really like the Verdicts. I think taking out a Cyclonic Rift might be better, cause they're awful early game, and I barely have any creatures so a flat out board wipe might be more useful.

Honestly, I really think you should take out the creatures all together. The angel is only really good if you have creatures in your graveyard so you can gain card advantage when she dies, and chances are you will often have to wipe before they attack into the priest. Also, I would take out Rapid Hybridization and Divine Deflection , since they are not good enough to justify the -1 card advantage they create.

Blakkhand, I'll take out the Rapid Hybridization s and cut the High Priest of Penance s back down to two, but the Divine Deflection are useful sometimes, and are great against burn. Do you think they should be side boarded? I'll also take out the Angel. What should I put in for all the cut cards? Thanks for the help, and if you like it, +1!

Yeah, the Divine Deflection would serve you a lot better in the side board. Good things to add would be more D-sphere, more Ultimate Price , Underworld Connections , an additional jace, Feeling of Dread , more land if you're under 26, and possibly Forbidden Alchemy .

gnarlicide, it actually does have 38 cards. It's still a WIP and the maybeboard cards complete it.

Blakkhand, I don't want any more D-Spheres because they aren't permanent if they have enchantment hate or the like. Also, why do you say another Jace and 26 land? Do you think 2 Underworld Connections are good enough?

Thanks for the comments, and feel free to +1!

Often, when using jace you will simply -2 him twice in a row for insane card advantage, so you won't really need to worry about not being able to play one in your hand.

25 is the minimum amount of land you want to have in most control decks, and esper tends to have a little bit higher casting costs than the norm. I have done lots of testing with esper walkers and I have discovered that there is just no way to avoid having all 26 of them.

1-2 is about how many Underworld Connections you want to have in a deck, because otherwise it really starts to eat in to your life total.

As far as the spheres are concerned, don't be afraid to run a full playset. I really doubt that anyone would side in some hate just 5-6 enchantments that aren't even necessary for you to win.

I recommend putting your final deck plan in the mainboard instead splitting it into the maybeboard, then put all the things you still don't have into the acquireboard. That will clear up a lot of confusion. I hope I answered all your questions. =)
