Making a proxy for Goblin Settlers to complete this deck.

Land destruction is a pain. You may want to add a little more land in to yours. I would say it is 3-5 lands short. Lightning Greaves , Swiftfoot Boots , and Sol Ring are staples to any deck in my opinion.

Beast Within , and Corrupted Conscience , are a little questionable. Both are great cards, but why not add similar ones to make the deck a little more consistent. The way I see it, is you want to try to make an EDH deck as consistent as possible. That is what people shoot for in standard, and any other format. So it is probably the best method here too, just takes a little more planning.

I understand. I am actually making about 5 Animar decks so I can switch em out for fun. Thinking about counter/proliferate, land destruction, creature bounce, creature steal and artifact intensive. The boots, greaves and Sol Ring are in every EDH deck I have ever seen (including at least 10 of the decks my nephew-in-law has made) and while I might cave into peer pressure eventually, for right now the deck does great in multi-player and is lots of fun. Love your handle btw.

How does yours run with the current amount of lands in there? Has been enough for ya?

That is a cool idea, making multiple decks for the same general. I am thinking of making a new EDH, but it took a while to get my current one in to the shape I want it in. Still trying to work some of the kinks out of it. I like to use clones as general killers. Check it out if you have any suggestions on it let me know.

There are so many control spells, and land destruction. That would be the worst deck to play if you added counters, and land ramp stuff. You would make everyone bald from it.

Thanks also, I quite like the name. I was playing my didgeridoo, and for some reason had zippity do da in my head. This is what came out of that.

Animar makes up for the mana curve in almost every instance. They changed the ruling on clone effects though. Now a clone can only kill a legend that you actually control, and it kills one of them (you choose). On the plus side my big guys can benefit if i copy Rafiq of the Many or any other dangerous boss. Beast Within can destroy a land, thats why my friend made me put it in (I had thought it was just creature removal). My first Animar deck was infect/proliferate and that generated more hate than I wanted to deal with (gonna make another infect deck soon though, was too fun not to have one).

Could you please link me to the new rules on clone? I did not know this. Also, I love the card Beast Within , just thought you could do with a couple more things in there similar to it.

Cool deck. I'm not a fan of land destruction but still a good build: +1

I have a Animar deck myself but it's build completely different from yours: Animar, Soul of Artifacts

I love this! But you know what would make your opponents even more frustrated? Deadeye Navigator !!! and why not a Sylvan Primordial for ramping destruction

Sylvan Primordial is banned right? I really should put in the navigator (I bought a couple and never put them in decks).
