I removed Thundermaw Hellkite in favor of Pyromancer's Goggles, and took out Staggershock to put in Exquisite Firecraft, and added some Rift Bolt.
Other cards that used to seem attractive but no longer make the cut are creatures like Fire Servant and Galvanoth
It isn't very fast, is it? I will try playing without it. I'm drawn to synergy of cards like that, but it shouldn't be at the expense of speed. I'm just new at this and trying to find cards that work well with Young Pyromancer.

The thing about Shrine of Burning Rage is that by the time you cast it and build up enough counters on it to be worth anything, you should have already won.
