I think the direction you want to go with this deck isn't actually in a burn oriented direction. I think that instead of cleaning up the mana base and make it less painful, you should take advantage of how painful it is and run cards like Death's Shadow. Play more cards that cost no mana like Mutagenic Growth. I think that when you're going to be killing yourself you may as well take advantage of it. Try a sort of suicide aggro with a Death's Shadow + Temur Battle Rage combo as a backup. Maybe consider Become Immense and Vines of Vastwood to supper efficiently beat down your opponent. If you can get a creature on board and pump it enough, pump spells can be even more effective than burn spell sometime. Especially when double strike is involved. Ghor-Clan Rampager is amazing too because it can't be countered. But Boros Charm + Ghor-Clan Rampager is a killer t4 finisher. Or mate something like Simian Spirit Guide could help it become t3? I dont know, I'm just trying to Brainstorm ideas that allow you to take advantage of the weaknesses of your deck while maintaining all of its strengths.
