Hey there Tappedouters! This month is another split prize.

Who are the winners
Both of this months winners are very active members of the community. They have been active just being friendly and nice to other users; as well as, contributing to the community through articles and deck postings of their own. We are glad to have them ind this is our thanks.

| So I asked Mpz5 what his favorite card was. He said that he really liked MImic Vat, Wrath of God, and Day of Judgment. Additionally I looked at his profile and noted that he represented himself as a blue, white, and black player that is a spike/johnny hybrid. I tried to capture all of that in a card. I figured it should be a sweeper, that had recursion elements to it and I came up with this card. |
Leafs_suck gave me a short answer to what his favorite card was, Anowon, the Ruin Sage. I figured that he liked it for its tribal control flair. I also checked out his profile and saw that he was aligning himself as a red and blue player. All that said to me goblin control. I tried to make the card as gobliny as possible, while adding a strong blue flair that this card can be very strong if used properly and lame if not. I also made sure to create some details related to the art and flavor text, since I know he likes flavor text a lot. I did some research about what his name meant. Apparently it is a hockey reference against the Toronto Maple Leafs. So see if you note those details in the art and flavor. |

Thanks guys, I do appreciate it and I'm glad that my bud leaf could share it with me.
I totally want my card for real... That would be pretty sweet.
This really is a great community. The jerks tend to be quickly rehabilitated and everyone here is really good about helping out and giving opinions. The site itself is amazing and a great resource for players, casual and competitive alike.
I do appreciate everything that you guys do here. It's the best place online to be.

I like Leafs_suck card personally. Add a mask of avacyn to it and now I have a 2/4 hexproof creature that gets to counter the first spell every turn. Just saying. Mpz5's card is equally as awesome though. If only Squire1 was on the wizards dev team.

I'd vote for u squire!! Look at my blue search throne of empire deck... I want another win condition... but so little room with how much trolling I have with it... I love how I can play it in tournys... I am running LSVs tempered steel now though instead cuz I want to win money at FNM got to make my gas worth it...
