Clone the current game, then pause it.( create another game that is an exact copy of the current game. Players skip their turns in the current game.) In two upkeeps, unpause the original game, then sacrifice a game.

So basically, you get to play a game for two turns, then decide whether you want to keep that game or go back two turns to the old one.

Make another card that says to clone the game. It doesn’t necessarily have to pause it.

Infernal Captor was literally the card made for this deck.

Make a card that gets banned in a format that is stronger than another format it is legal in i.e. geological appraiser, monastery mentor, Ragavan, tibalts trickery, dreadhorde arcanist. Don’t count commander.

I would recommend cutting a copy or two of Everlasting Torment as it is very bad in multiples.

Cloudkin Seer is strictly better than Tome Raider. A fun trick you can do is give an opponent something with islandhome. This causes the game to end in a draw if your opponent doesn’t have an island.

There’s always the option of playing Bruvac the Grandiloquent. If you want a deck with lots of control effects, but a lot of fun social interaction, I would play The Beamtown Bullies.
