tooth and nail entwine cost?

when you cast Tooth and Nail do you just pay 2 mana and you get both.
You pay the 5GG and an additional 2 for a total of 7GG to get both effects

any 2 creature combo and you win, my friend uses it in a tron deck which makes 9 mana perfectly reachable... or you could run Phage the Untouchable then again, she's cheaper than 9 cmc so you're better off hardcasting her

uhh... If you play her with this card then you would lose the game per her ability...

You lose if you didnt play her from your hand. Tooth and Nail lets you play Phage the Untouchable from your hand along with something else

"Play" means cast. So you must cast Phage the Untouchable from your hand, otherwise you lose.

@Tunde there are plenty of ways around that. Torpor Orb , Sundial of the Infinite , Time Stop , etc.

gheridarigaaz actually "put into play from your hand" is FAR different that "you may play this card without paying it's mana cost".
Tooth and Nail says "put into play" so the effect is just like Quicksilver Amulet .

Use Tooth and Nail to find Phage and Platinum Angel

the entwine cost is an additional cost added to the mana cost. Therefore to use both you must pay 9 mana, otherwise it would be WAY too good
