Lorwyn Eclipsed shall not be released until this upcoming January, but I would like to begin discussing it, now, since I have many hopes and predictions for that set.
First, the original Lorwyn/Shadowmoor block was comprised of two mini-blocks of two sets each, for a block of four sets, altogether, but LE is a single set, so it shall have far less room for interesting new cards, let alone reprints, and I also am concerned that the story of the set shall be too brief and lacking in detail, but, after the excellent stories of both Tarkir: Dragonstorm and Edge of Eternities, I have faith that the staff at WotC shall be able to write a compelling story for LE, as well.
Given that the plane regular shifts from the sunlit and tranquil word of Lorwyn to the eternal night and terror of Shadowmoor, I believe that this set is the perfect place to use the night and day mechanic from the Innistrad Double Feature, although Mark Rosewater has stated that he believes that WotC is unlikely to use that mechanic, again, in the near future.
Since the original Lorwyn/Shadowmoor block had a strong kindred/typal theme, I expect that this set shall, as well, although the exact extent of which is difficult to predict.
It also would be nice to see new versions of legendary creatures from the original block, so I imagine that WotC shall make such cards.
I definitely would like to see several mechanics from the original block return, as well, most notably conspire, but also clash, hideaway, and prowl, as well.
What does everyone else say, about this? It is rather early, but what are your hopes and wishes for Lorwyn Eclipsed?
I'd like to see a legendary Merfolk that does something Merfolk-y. Chulane, Teller of Tales does a pretty job of uniting Lorwyn and Ixalan merfolk in EDH, but I'd like a more dedicated option, even if I don't end up using it.

I would like to see the lieges (i.e., Balefire Liege and Deathbringer Liege, and so forth), the demigods (i.e., Divinity of Pride, Dominus of Fealty, and so forth), and the demigod auras (i.e., Edge of the Divinity, Scourge of the Nobilis, and so forth) reprinted, preferably with new artwork, because very few of those cards have been reprinted, and, the few times that they have been reprinted, they rarely ever had new artwork, so that would be very nice, indeed.

Mostly just want to go to Shadowmoor. Also disappointing it isn't at least two sets.
Day/night would make sense but not sure how they would implement it. I don't like the idea of transforming creatures but maybe transforming Enchantments? Or maybe just certain bonus for either day or night attached to permanents.
What I would like to see is more -1/-1 counters. It was originally in green/red/black with black being the main color. It would be nice to get a good -1/-1 counter commander in those colors.
