reaper of the wilds in modern

I have this idea in my head that reaper of the wilds is a good card for modern Rock type decks. Four mana 4/5 beat stick is efficient enough for competitive play. She's hard to kill with the selective hexproof. She can kill most threats with deathtouch. And most of all, with the all the targeted removal in a Rock deck you can do some major deck stacking with the scry ability.
all in all she looks like a good option. What do you all think?

Jund tops out at 4 cmc for a singleton Chandra, Pyromaster , Rock tops at 3 for lili, courser and pulse.

I'm with ChiefBell. here. Tapping 4 mana is one heck of a risky move. If she generated immediate value, she'd be a much better option. She's a great option in standard or for a budget modern deck, but she's just too heavy to pull her weight in competitive play.

Almost correct, Rock these days plays 1 Thrun, the Last Troll main. Nevertheless is Reaper of the Wilds not good enough to be considered for Modern. Escpecially because Green already has insanely powerful creatures.
If you were to try an unusual 4-Drop for Modern Rock: Desecration Demon .
Doesn't die to Dismember , Abrupt Decay or Lightning Bolt . A 6/6 flier is no joke in Modern (usually you start at ~15 life due to shocks and fetches).
Sadly he just stinks against Pod and Young Pyromancer. However it's quite cute when Pod brings in Sigarda, Host of Herons and you play Big-DD. But that's such a fringe scenario that I wouldn't waste a slot for him.

@ Putrefy : I have seen them out of the side, but not in the main of any of the Rock decks that have gotten Top 8s out where I play. Could be a regional thing.

Yeah sure, I use mtgtop8.com for reference most of the times. You can see there that some lists run him main, some don't. I think right now, he's maindeckable for sure with all the UWR fancy stuff floating around.

She doesn't impact the board on a long term basis, requires constant mana input to protect and is rather high on the curve for a deck running Bob. She's pretty bad. A 4 drop in modern needs to end the game or be sufficiently hard to remove to whittle the opponent down. She doesn't really fit these criteria.
