Hey guys, I wanted to start a pretty pricey deck in Bant Hexproof Enchant that would run, 4 Geist, 4 slippery bogle, 3 Kor spirit dancer, 2 Gladecover scout, Along with 24ish lands ( including breeding pools)(Hallowed Fountain) etc.The main punch of the deck being 24-26 enchants. Including 4 daybreak coronet, aetheral armour, and other enchants like that. Do you think this deck could survive against other modern decks?

Ummmm...have you seen Reid Duke's Worlds deck? He placed second with G/W Hexproof. I currently play a BANT hexproof build that I altered from a few years back. Bant Hexproof

You're better off running Invisible stalker than Gladecover for unblockable and as much as I love Spiritdancer, I have not been that impressed. It's hated on so much that I stopped enchanting it. It's almost a dead card in my hand. I'm thinking about adding either 2 path and 2 more echantments or 2 scouts and 2 paths.

It will run similar to the Standard version that just rotated. Geist is not as large a threat in Modern, but he is hard to deal with, so that's a good start. Considering the low CMC of most modern decks, let me suggest the use of Daxos of Meletis . It's likely you will be able to draw into something sweet and devastating to your opponents that you can play right away. Maybe a creature that you can block with, or removal of some sort...maybe he would just ramp for you at the very least. Give it a go...

I had not thought of Daxos, but that is pretty sweet. =D Playtesting time!

GW is definitely better than Bant for modern auras. You have Silhana Ledgewalker and Kor Spiritdancer . You don't need Invisible Stalker

I've seen a strong deck with Silhana Ledgewalker and Invisible Stalker as the only creatures. It was loaded with Curiosity and Keen Sense , with Ethereal Armor on the side. It was impossible to beat without outracing or board sweepers. And it was pretty fast.

Splashing Blue for Geist, and Spectral Flight really help the deck in my opinion. I've won many local tournaments because I've chosen BANT over G/W.

I think that Bant is better than G/W because of geist and invisible stalker, if you load them up with enchants they are pretty hard to deal with.

Also, if you want some card advantage Sphinx's Revelation is actually still available to you if you're in Bant, but not in G/W

As well as Supreme Verdict. All in all, I agree Bant is much stronger.
