Why is Accumulated Knowledge banned in Modern? :'(

It's only printing in a set was nemesis, which I'm sure isn't modern legal

Its not banned, it just was never printed in a Modern-legal set.

First, as others have noted, it hasn't been printed in a Modern legal set. Second, it might be too good for Modern. I'm not entirely sure on that, but it seems like it could get out of control.

Dunno. Maybe it is the card control needs. Maybe it will break storm.

Storm is always one card away from being broken. Seething Song and Rite of Flame are testament to that.

It's not too good for modern. It's another Golgari Grave-Troll if that makes sense. If it was ever printed, it'd just be ignored. I'd rather not have a slot of a new set wasted on something like this. It doesn't seem very fun for standard and sucks in limited.

Break Storm? Screw that. Storm is the worst deck to play against by far. It's not even Magic, it's just watching someone do math. I wish they'd ban it just for annoyance.

kmcree - Storm is the most busted mechanic, bar none. But I love it! And I would jam 4 Accumulated Knowledge into my Storm deck easy.

Would absolutely play this over Desperate Ravings in Storm if I could.

They already banned it; Storm is an awful deck now.

The legacy card I want to see in modern is Memory Lapse.

Basically I just want to run 4 memory lapse, 4 remand, and 4 Hinder.

I also want Nimble Mongoose to be in modern. I don't think it is too powerful. Grixis delver would prefer to keep its KCs, anglers, and tasigurs (plus all the disruption and removal of black), but I think that the fringe Delver w/ Goyf could really use it.

I also have a playset that I want to use.
