The Dude Abides -
Hey there! The name's Kyle. I've been playing Magic on and off since Onslaught. Dropped it for a while, and picked it back up with RTR.
When I was younger I played primarily aggressive decks, but I've since graduated to playing almost exclusively control. I am a Blue/White mage at heart. Esper is probably my favorite Shard, and Jeskai my favorite wedge. I pretty much abandoned Standard after RTR, and I've moved on to play Modern, and the occasional EDH game.
I play Magic for the mental challenge involved. I love long, thought-out games that create intricate board states. The mind games, decisions, and difficult plays are what really attract me to the game.
I spend a decent amount of time browsing this site. I enjoy commenting and giving feedback on decks, and I'm always willing to take a look at new ideas. I also enjoy the typical banter and discussions the site fosters.
Finally, I tend to be a reasonably active trader and a pretty serious investor in MTG. I'm a financial representative in real life, and deal with stocks, mutual funds, etc, so the price variance in cards has always attracted me.
