Surprising lore: Jeska (Phage, the untouchable]]

Lore forum

I make lore videos on Youtube. Most recently, I did lore on Jeska/Phage and was astounded I didn't know most of such a cool character (even that she eventually becomes Karona) I was wondering if you guys had any characters you were fascinated by once you looked up the lore?

For anyone curious here's my vid/channel:

Now, you see, the lore of Azami is quite perturbing, for she snuffed quite a few people in haste for knowledge. Peruse her life. It's fascinating for a rather unassuming character on card.

I’m interested in your channel but it appears you either can’t post links on tappedout, or you forgot to paste the link lol

What’s the name of your channel?

Hey Daveslab2022 my channel is "WUBRG the card hoarder"

Interesting I did not know anything about Feldon, which is ironic since I play him in multiple EDH decks.

Thank you Azeworai! I was looking for some Kamigawa characters to delve into, but it seems like most have only a line or two. I wasn't playing MTG during that set so I'm not terribly familiar with a lot of the Kamigawa important characters

WUBRGtch Toshiro Umezawa has a lot of lore behind him. I mean he's pretty much a mono black hero.

This is probably going to be the noobliest of questions, but here goes: What is the source of all this lore? I played MtG from Alpha to Tempest, then picked it up again from Core 19 and forward. There’s no way all this lore is deduced just from the snippets printed on the cards, so how is it dispensed? Are there books, role playing games, or other MtG venues? I’ve never seen anything besides the card game so I’m at a loss.

There are books and comic books from all over the games years, all the way from Legends. MTG Wiki compiled all of this data and is most common for sieving through gests.

Didn’t know that. How are they released? No one at my LGS ever handed me a pamphlet or anything, idk where to go to read about the stories.
