Tomb of Yawgmoth and Korlash, Heir to Blackblade

I recently got some Korlash, Heir to Blackblade for my zombie deck whose power and toughness is equal to the number of swamps that I control. I have been playing with the Tomb of Yawgmoth for awial now and it makes all lands swamps in addition to thier other land types. I know this makes both the Haunted Fengraf and the Tomb of Yawgmoth count as Swamps and boost Korlash, Heir to Blackblade. But would this also make a swamp a swamp and a swamp? Making it so that each swamps count as two swamps controlled. Or would they still only count as one swamp controlled?

Tomb of Yawgmoth makes lands Swamps in addition to their other types. The use of the word "other" automatically makes it ignore things that already say Swamp.

Oh ok. That makes it a lot less useful than I first Imagined it. Thank you for your help. I will have to work out another way to boost the mana for my zombies.

A good way that I know of to "boost your mana" would be Caged Sun . That will double the amount that your lands produce, if that's what you're looking for and also give your creatures a small boost

Yes! :D that would be perfect for the build I'm going for. Thank you.

Keep in mind that if you have 2 out, your lands wouldn't produce 4x mana, just 3x

Good to know.

Although Swampwalk is all but irrelevant now, note that Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth makes ALL lands Swamps in addition to their other types. Cabal Coffers also helps with your mana production; it has some excellent synergy with Urborg on the field.

I I was considering to just add Zombie Master to the deck to work with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth . My zombies get very large fast and I currently use a Dirge of Dread to get through for the endgame. But it doesnt work against black decks which I tend to just overpower or decimate with Noxious Ghoul and Endless Ranks of the Dead . Cabal Coffers Seems like it would be the best to Replace Tomb of Yawgmoth for my purposes. That way I wont have to worry about cutting any of my zombies that have proven themselves to stay in my deck.

I second the Cabal Coffers . Zombie Master with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth is also a nice little combo. You could potentially use both. Urborg makes the cabal coffers work toward your swamp count, so taking swamps out for nonbasics won't hurt you at all. I'd say take out Dirge of Dread for Zombie Master

I like that the Zombie Master will have to go in, but cutting the Dirge of Dread is going to set me back in my ability get a draw in a pinch. Though that can be easily solved by adding another Gempalm Polluter Versatility is key to most my decks since I don't usually sideboard. Thank you guys for your help. If your curious about the deck that it is for check Horde Mentality We could probably move further comments there since this has gotten slightly off the original topic. :)
