List of Planeswalkers by Home Plane

Now that planeswalkers are a card type in this game, and are major characters in the story, I believe that it would be good to have a list of them by their plane of origin, to make it easier to keep track of them all. Therefore, this thread is such a list (which I probably should have made long ago).
I will include only planeswalkers who have been depicted in cards in the game, since there would be too many to list if I also included those who have not yet been depicted in cards. I will first list all the planes known to have currently-depicted planeswalkers in alphabetical order by name, and then list the planeswalkers from that plane, in alphabetical order by name. If the planeswalker is from a specific region of the plane or belongs to a specific faction on that plane, I will list the region or faction in parenthesis, after their name.

What does everyone else say about this list? How did I do with it? Have I missed any planeswalkers or incorrectly listed their plane of origin?

Eiti3, that list is very comprehensive, but does not list them by home plane, which was my main goal for this thread.
Also, as new planeswalkers are added to the game, I shall add them to this list, so is there any way that this thread can be made a sticky, so that it is always at the top of the page?

It has been stated that Kaya is not from Fiora. Source. The lore on her can be found in the articles at the end. They say she's not from Fiora in the first one, I believe.

Part of the problem with this list is for some walkers where we first encounter them is NOT where they are from and we don't always know where they are from.
For example, until Theros we didn't know that's where Gideon was from. We would naturally assume he was from Bant. Additionally, some planeswalkers choose to make a home on the first plane they walk to meaning that could throw things off as well.

When you say "depicted in cards," I assume you mean ones that have their own Planeswalker card, and not just creature versions, right? If not, Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer was a planeswalker for about 5 minutes or so! Jeska, Warrior Adept, Jaya Ballard, Task Mage, and Grandmother Sengir (Ravi Sengir) also have cards!

I'm sure by cards, you specifically mean with the card type "planeswalker"? Also, I'm relatively sure Karn was made in Tolaria, if you're going into specifics on each plane.

metalmagic, yes, I am specifically referring to characters who have been depicted on planeswalker cards, so the charatcers whom you mentioned do not qualify for this thread.

Koth isn't from mirrodin.
See this is the problem like I mentioned before. Koth CREATED mirrodin while he was already a planeswalker.

Is there a way to keep this thread at the top of the page? I will be updating it every time that a new planeswalker is added to the game, and I do not wish to search for it whenever I need to do that.

Only a little nitpick, but Freyalise wasn't born in Llanowar. She was born in the continent of Terisiare, in the now forgotten kingdom of Storgard.

I saw that you got multiple requests in one of your other threads to remake this in "decklist" format. I wouldn't blame you if you don't bother, but, just in case, I do have a list of every planeswalker (List: Did We Just Become Superfriends?) that you could copy and add custom categories to (without having to enter every single card). Just a thought. Thanks for all your hard work either way. =)

With the upcoming release of Battlebond, I have added Will Kenrith and Rowan Kenrith to this list, and, with the upcoming release of the Global Series, I have also added Jiang Yanggu and Mu Yanling to this list.

With recent revelations, I have added Vivien Reid to this list, and changed Ugin's home plane to Dominaria.

You still have Nicol Bolas as Unknown, when he is from Dominaria. This has been true since Legends, and not changed with the divide between Pre- and Post-Revisionist histories.

With the upcoming release of Commander 2018, I have added Aminatou, Estrid, and Lord Windgrace to this list; of those three, only Windgrace's home plane is known (Dominaria), as there currently is no information about Aminatou or Estrid's home planes.

With the upcoming release of Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths, I have added Lukka to this list, as he is a native of the plane of Ikoria, and I also changed the list to have a separate spoiler tag for each plane, due to the large number of planeswalkers who now have cards.

I have added Jared Carthalion and Sivitri Scarzam to this list, and I wonder why I did not do that, earlier, since it took so little effort to add them, and it has been quite some time since they were printed as planeswalkers.
