This Commander looks dope! Personally, my favorite part about him is his ability that makes all your other creatures have Deathtouch. My take-away is now, your opponents never get to have creatures or yours get through their defenses unblocked! I looked in to some cards that fit the new 'party' mechanic in Zendikar to help your Commander come out.

Legendary Planeswalker - Kiora
+1 Look at the top card of your library if it is a green or Blue creature reveal it and put it in you hand otherwise draw a card.
-3 Remove all whirlpool counters from permanents you control.
-7 put a 5/7 Legendary Octopus token into play named Apolýo, the Kraken with the following abilities
When Apolýo, the Kraken Attacks it deals Damage equal to it's power to all Creatures and Planeswalkers.
If Apolýo the Kraken Didn't attack this turn, exile all creatures and planeswalkers you own that where dealt Damage this turn, return them to the battlefield under your control during your next end step.
Basicly replacing one passionaly pissed Octopus with another Kiora Style
I'd like to see a new Jeska, Warrior Adept after her manifestaion of her Planeswalker's spark

I am one of the people that has been wanting a new Baron Sengir and man its finally happening!
Jeska, Warrior Adept was a pet card of mine back in the day so im curious to see what her Planeswalker form will do and how she came to be that way.
Arcane Signet s for everyone! At least I'm assuming that will be included in almost all of these products. As with all the products that open up past present and future options for characters I am always excited to see who gets a new treatment. I would love if Commander Legends brought us new versions of a few cards from Legends like Sivitri Scarzam (black blue dragons!) or Hazezon Tamar (who I would love to run if he wasn't $$$).
And of course cards for characters that never got a chance like Belbe or Rat.

Well, there's lore, and then there's cards. ;) Jeska, Warrior Adept is a different card from Phage the Untouchable. And then of course you could technically count Karona, False God if you want to go the lore route....
But yes, killing your Phage with Endless Whispers on the board is a fancy way to take out an opponent in one shot, that you get to repeat if she's your commander but otherwise need to find a different workaround. Not terrible, but maybe not always something to try to build around.

Budget Beginner Teaching Decks (#2 Red)

I added some dragon flavor with a single Lightning Shrieker replacing the Jeska, Warrior Adept I do not own. I've made a few other changes, but the deck seems really explosive. (turn 3 winable explosive).
If you draw a haster turn 1 > 3 damage, turn 2 play Kiln Fiend, turn 3 play 3 instants/sorceries including the Assault Strobe and a Rush of Adrenaline (so it gets double strike, trample and +8 damage and you hit for 18 damage > 21 damage total. Even if they block, you can use a Flame Slash before combat, to deal 24 damage with the fiend and kill the blocker.
I removed the Assault Strobe for now, and replaced it with a combination of 2 Dragon Mantle and 2 Burst Lightning. This seems a bit slower, and gives more reach should the game last longer. Both introduce a new mechanic, which might be a bit much for the complete beginner, but I haven't had any issues with the two I played it with.

Kamahl, Pit Fighter: Yelling Tribal!

Flameshadow Conjuring creates additional hasty token copies of creatures you play, which is great for staying aggressive and increasing your value, but it also means twice the yelling.
Temur Battle Rage isn't on the screamy tribal theme, but it'll often instantly win you games through commander damage with Kamahl. Double strike and trample on a 6-power creature is a lethal combination.
Jeska, Warrior Adept is Kamahl's sister, so she ought to be included for flavor. She's also not a bad card herself.
Darksteel Plate is a powerful way to protect your commander and his flimsy 1-toughness. The best part is is that the equipment is also indestructible.
Insurrection wins games. The art is also all like, "have ALL the yelling crazy people fighting for me!"
Koth of the Hammer is really, really good. He's mana ramp and aggressively transforms your lands into giant attacking creatures. Hmm...that sounds like another card related to your commander...Kamahl, Fist of Krosa.
Paragon of Fierce Defiance is a great anthem effect in mono-red, and he can give another creature haste for a turn.
Basilisk Collar on your commander means you can instantly kill anything, and gain 3 life to boot. Straight-up, repeatable death.
Godo, Bandit Warlord would be a good way to tutor for one of those equipment to attach to Kamahl. Also thanks to his printing in Commander 2016, his price is under a dollar.
Inferno Titan is big, bad, and hits like a truck. Wipes out blockers whenever he attacks, then firebreathe him into ultra-screamy mode.
Dictate of the Twin Gods is another Furnace of Rath-style enchantment, but since it has flash, you can craft an unexpected win out of nowhere.
