does anyone know of a better version of Horseshoe Crab

Currently I am using him with Dual Casting to copy spells multiple times. I'm asking this to see if there is a lower cost version or a better card for this.

Illusionist's Bracers on the Crab will let you put 2x instances of "untap this creature" on the stack for U... then between the untaps, tap it and pay R to make 2x copies of the spell.

Leech Bonder costs the same as the Crab, but it get's a bonus ability of moving counters... may be relevant...
