Card study: fleeting spirit

I was looking through my bulk cards and saw Fleeting Spirit. I really enjoy multiple aspects of the card, enough to do an article. The first thing that I immediately noticed was the self synergy of the two abilities. The first ability removes cards from your graveyard to give itself first strike. The second ability lets you slow flicker it to remove it from combat after first strike damage. The second ability fuels your graveyard with cards, which fuel the first ability, which entices you to use the second ability, which fuels the first one, and so on. In practice however, this isn’t that useful outside of limited. So what can this card do in constructed? It comes back at eot so you can’t combo with it. I’ve gotten the most use out of it as either a discard outlet, as you can hold priority and activate the second ability multiple times to discard multiple cards simultaneously, or as a vs control sideboard card. Control has a very difficult time trying to kill it, as you can just flicker it in response to anything. What do you think about this card?

I think its a neat card! ... my first thought was almost like a AEtherling or Psychic Frog kinda card in a tribal spirit deck but or perhaps any kind of Delirium synergy.

Never heard of the card before I appreciate the highlight!

It's a pretty easy way to trigger Cream of the Crop, and with 3 power, it can even re-draw what you discarded when combined with Elemental Bond or Garruk's Packleader.
