Which commander should I use for Illusion Tribal?

I'm about to build an illusion tribal edh deck and I'm torn between Pol Jamaar, Illusionist and Minn, Wily Illusionist. Any insights or thoughts?

I really like Minn, as making the tribal-type with your commander is pretty important, but another possible option could be Adrix and Nev, Twincasters. It would be adding green, which has its ups and downs, but there might be a lot of fun green cards that you might wish you had as you test out the mono-blue version. Something to keep in mind. I’m looking forward to seeing more about your deck! Illusions are a super fun creature type that is often forgotten!!

I'm probably going to throw Minn in the command zone, thought both will be in the deck.
FormOverFunction: I hadn't thought about Adrix and Nev, Twincasters but I feel that would push the deck into more of a simic token generator rather than illusion tribal which isn't really my thing, I already have Chatterfang for tokens. Will post the decklink on here once it is done.
Icbrgr: Thanks for the input but I think Meloku the Clouded Mirror would be better in a Patron of the Moon deck where lands are bouncing constantly. Though that's just my opinion.

I’m in 100% agreement on sticking to the theme/tribal focus. The goal is “doing/having illusion things” so I agree that Minn is probably best. I only mentioned it because (a) I temporarily mixed fractals and illusions up in my head, and (b) I wasn’t sure if the addition of green was something you would be interested in. I always weigh form heavily over function (surprise) and didn’t want to block you into that, in case you wanted more win potential or something. Still super excited to see the deck! It’s expensive to cast, but I’d ask that you consider Mirror Match for the deck. It doesn’t OFFICIALLY reference illusions, so you might miss it in searches, but it’s super fun and can make some crazy things happen (depending on who’s attacking you). There are a ton of flavor fits like that out there, and I’m excited you get the chance to comb the archives!! (if you want to)

Trickster318 Are you committed to mono-blue, or to using one of those two commanders? Illusions are an almost entirely mono-blue type, but other colors could offer additional support or cover weaknesses.
All good if you want to stay in blue; I'm just eyeballing other possible suggestions. Pol Jamaar, Illusionist and Minn, Wily Illusionist are both good thematic options. I'm leaning toward Minn, who has actual interactions with Illusions, while Pol is basically a Distant Melody on a decently big body.

FormOverFunction: Ooo, Mirror Match looks very thematic and I think it'll find a home in this deck. I'm at the point where I found too many creatures and I'm having to make cuts for the mana base
legendofa: I am committed to mono blue for this one, and even if I wanted to grab another color, it'd be white for more illusions (I think). Blue has interaction down to a T and I can use things like Throne of Eldraine or Gauntlet of Power to address ramp issues.

Decklink has been added now, tell me what you think! I might've leaned to heavily into the creatures, not sure.

between those two I vote Minn, Wily Illusionist.... Meloku the Clouded Mirror also comes to mind but I really like Minn.
