Serum Snare or Experimental Augury?

I just put a copy of Serum Snare in my Atraxa, Praetors' Voice EDH deck, but I am now wondering if I should replace that card with Experimental Augury, because, as good as the former card is, an opponent can simply resummon the permanent that I return to their hand, and the permanent must have a low mana value in order for me to proliferate, but the latter card shall always proliferate, and it also is nice to have a card that gives me card advantage.

What does everyone else say about this? Should I replace Serum Snare with Experimental Augury?

I recall mentioning that Serum Snare was not good removal. I don't think Experimental Augury is good card draw, either. I understand you're trying to lean into the proliferation theme, but you limit good card choices by trying to get a proliferation trigger out of everything. There are lots of better card draw spells in these colors. You should seek out those options.

bushido_man96, you are correct that I should not be focusing too heavily on the proliferate mechanic, as I still do have plenty of sources for it, so what do you think of Void Rend and Brokers Ascendancy? Those are quite excellent, are they not?

Instead of Void Rend, you could run Beast Within or Generous Gift, both of which are easier to cast. Brokers Ascendancy seems ok.
