Selesnya Control Commanders?
Commander Deck Help forum

Hey all.
I've been currently working for a few days on a mono white control deck and as I was about to scrap it I decided maybe all I needed to do was splash a color. The deck has a good amount of equipment for a voltron element but that can be taken out. I decided to go selesnya control since the whole point of trying to make this deck was to step out of my comfort zone of blue. I think meeting it halfway and doing control would make this deck a top favorite of mine. Any recommendations on generals? I know Gaddock Teeg is gonna be high on peoples list but I'm looking for a less... obvious and hateful general that'll not get me hated off the table in under 2 minutes. Maybe an enchantress deck would be the best way to control the table?
EDIT: Decklist This is what I was working with originally with mono white. I decided a lot of the cards I needed like Land Tax were to darn expensive.
Selvala, Explorer Returned is the GW general I run but my deck is more of a ramp deck. She is probably one of the best for enchantress though keeps the draw flowing and mana to cast your enchantments fast.

If you're going control, GW is great at it. A popular route being enchantress. Two of the more popular commanders being Selvala, Explorer Returned and Karametra, God of Harvests. Both are super great at card advantage and breaking parity through stax effects. I personally live GW, if you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Karametra, God of Harvests ramps you if you play a creature heavy type of control deck (creatures with etb effects).
Captain Sisay - is a good toolbox commander, but may get expensive as well.
And to point out white / black decks are better at control than green / white decks in general.

Captain Sisay will be one of the best choices for Stax. However if you want to keep the Voltron theme and play control, why not try Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist? Good combat ability and you can run a bunch of Stax cards to support her.

I run a karametra deck with nearly 40 creatures and I can attest to the card advantage appeal of the deck
