Mono Black "Deal'' Deck Ideas Pls

So im making a mono black i guess "deal" deck where except necessary utility everything has a price beyond the initial mana investment. i.e. loss of life, exile from hand, deck or graveyard, sacing a permanent, let your opponent search their library, letting them draw a card or gain life ect. I want everything that can cost me something to do so if I can help it.
the commanders if leaning towards are Vilis, Broker of Blood or Asmodeus the Archfiend but if anyone has a better or more fun idea thats on theme let me know

If the link doesn't work idk anymore less 35% the time i put a link in it works other the times it doesn't i put my deck name in [[]] but if I'm doing it wrong could someone pls tell me it really aggravating and it only for deck links when i put card names in the double brackets it works fine

Vilis is more powerful, but Asmodeus has more more flavor for the theme. His keyword is literally Binding Contract XD
I'm mainly just commenting so I can get a notification when the link gets fixed, but I do think this idea will be a bit hard to run. The type of card in question is not of o particular power...

Put " deck: " in front of the "slug" (just copy directly from the deck's URL in your browser), or " deck-large: " for a banner version..

As someone who has a Vilis, Broker of Blood deck in the rotation of decks that I play with/against, I can speak from experience when I say that Vilis might actually be a bit TOO powerful. In the games I've played against him, he almost always becomes public enemy #1 as soon as something like Psychosis Crawler, literally any Tutor card or an unexpected Hatred shows up. Asmodeus the Archfiend seems to be a similar playstyle but not quite as "kill on sight" as Vilis is. I don't have any experience with Asmodeus, however.
Basically, if you want high power but a high chance of being targeted out of the game, Vilis is your best bet. If you want a lower powered deck that could potentially draw less attention from opponents that could play the same, Asmodeus would be a better choice.
On a similar note, Erebos, Bleak-Hearted might be worth mentioning. He cares about creatures dying and life loss. Could be pretty easy to tie the themes together.
If you went a route other than the life loss theme, maybe Fain, the Broker might be worth a look. Makes lots of deals by sacrificing stuff in exchange for other stuff.

KBK7101 txs for your imput as for the commander i look in to them. Psychosis Crawler will not be put into the deck since it all upside i don't have to pay anything but mana not the theme of this deck cards must have me pay an additional cost to considered, life creatures lands, cards in hand deck or grave ect. or let my opponents gain something life, card draw/search, free summon stuff like that.

Link didn't work. But I would run Vilis as the Commander. More direct payoff for life loss.
