Oathbreaker and Graveyard recursion... —Aug. 13, 2019
Alrighty, minor updates involved.
So, local meta is showing some favourite strategies involve graveyard recursion.
As a defense against this, I'm considering putting in Tormod's Crypt and/or Relic of Progenitus. Looking more at Tormod's Crypt as I can retrieve it with the Goblin Welder or the Goblin Engineer. The only problem I really have is I'm not sure what to remove to make room for these two.
Ral, Storm Conduit is a possible choice, as he doesn't quite fit the artifacts/tutor strategy of the deck. He's mostly there "Just in Case" I can ramp up the amount of spells I play, but not truly necessary. Just that Johnny Pizzazz I guess.
Given the lower CMC of the deck, perhaps a land? That would still leave me with 23 lands and a lot of mana rocks. That and Ral will give me access to both, and odds are a lot of cursing my way.
EDIT For whatever reason, the site is showing my OB & SS in two sections. Will try to figure out what the hell happened.
