Rules in my Meta —Jan. 5, 2016
So my group, in an effort to try to keep games from lasting 4+ hours, has decided to change our rules around a bit. We are allowing infinite combos again, but disallowing tutors. It's probably a temporary change, but I changed my deck to reflect these rule changes. I have reinserted Eater of the Dead and removed the few tutors I had in the deck. So as a result, if you're building at home, you may want to include things like Vampiric Tutor and Planar Portal, etc. Thanks for checking out my deck and I appreciate any help you can give!
@sorinmarkov2000 Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre are both pretty brutal anti-mill tech, mostly because all you need to do is have them somewhere in your deck. Once they're milled it pretty much resets the library and the person doing the milling has to basically start over. There are a couple of answers to the eldrazi, but afaik none of them stop the reshuffle. You could also always run Elixir of Immortality, but that is a little less reliable as it needs to be on the field and you'd basically always need to leave mana open for it. If you want to get really crazy, you could pop Psychic Spiral into your deck and hope you get it before it's milled, but if you do you're golden. You get your library reshuffled and you get to mill them back. I think the best option, though, is just try to go faster than the mill. I don't know if you're playing 1v1 or multiplayer; mill can be much faster 1v1. Aggro can shut mill down pretty hard though. Of course it all depends on the individual decks being played, so your milage may vary. I hope this has helped you a little; sorry I'm not super well-versed in anti-mill.
