Thanks. might buy one Nahiri then add 2 torrential gearhulks. then Saheeli's -2 will be BOSS

also there is a nice combo between Saheeli Rai +1 and Chandra, Torch of Defiance +1. can scry 1 with saheeli before you exile a castable card with Chandra

So if you can afford a Nahiri there is a great combo. I can ult Nahiri and fetch a metalwork colossus -2 saheeli and boom swing for 20 out of the blue. Keep a Unsubstantiate handy to block a kill spell or remove a blocker

Wow yeah thats a Sick Combo! or Ult for Torential Gearholk and -2 saheeli for 2 instants. Also just think if you had panharmonicon! you could cast 4 instants (4 fiery Temper)

In no way am I trying to hijack your thread but I'm contemplating switching a few cards in my jeskai superfriends, and wouldn't mind your 2 cents if you wouldn't mind looking it over. Thx

Just a thought, have you considered using Sin Prodders? They give extra card pull and a chance of putting up some early damage

I actually have thought about using Sin Prodder. My sideboard is constantly in flux, and I have 2 prodders that i sometimes use, especially against control-heavy metas.

And how does your Unsubstantiate work? I understand if they drop a heavy mana cost card you can make them recast it, but if they are just hitting with small things or quick Argo do you sideboard it out? I tried playing with them but I don't know if I'm just a bad player or what but I was always either discarding them or just using them to counter a counter.

Well yeah it works as both counter and removal. It works really like a toolbox card. There are a lot of ways to play it: counterspell, return an attacking/blocking creature, return my creature to hand to blank removal, etc. However, it usually goes out if I am playing decks with emrakul or any eldrazi, in favor of summary dismissal.

I have been play testing against your deck with my own American Superfriends deck, though I go more of the control variant. I am finding that your deck doesn't have instant speed draw, which is where my deck really pulls ahead. Have you considered using Anticipate or Glimmer of Genius instead of Oath of Jace? I think with all of the instants you play it would improve your deck to be able to also draw as an instant instead of having to use your turn to draw. Though I do like your deck and it has me questioning using Immolating Glares and Goblin Dark-Dwellers. Nice deck!

Evanbob007 That is actually probably a very smart play. I feel that Glimmer of Genius might be a better card to use, rather than Oath of Jace. I am happy you like the deck, and good luck with yours!

Mainboarding Authority of the Consuls is a little risky. Is that because you know your store's meta?

Virulent Plague isn't even legal in standard, which points me in he direction of doubt to anything stated about this deck. Especially with no wrath effect...no way it can beat a vehicle deck!

Have you considered Skyship Plunderer? He can increase your walker's loyalty. Also Emrakul has been banned so that frees up at least one slot.

itachi45 I apologize I put that on here a while ago and forgot that it was still in the listing! I have not used this deck in paper in awhile. However, as for online playtesting, I havent played this deck in a while, but when I did it went about 75% wins. The hardest matchups were definitely BG Graveyard Decks and Jeskai Cat Combo.
