the modern format is very, very fast. I don't know if you've tried it against a primer modern deck, but I think that you Avg. CMC is too high for a modern deck.

I'd suggest you look for low CMC elves and spells, and decide if you are going "all - in" on the Intruder Alarm + Presence of Gond combo.

berryjon, ya all i'm meaning by it being a casual lifegain is that i'm not planning on using it in modern tournaments or anything at this time. The deck was originally planned for just playing against my friends because I was irritating them with my Intruder Alarm + Presence of Gond combo deck. What would you say to replace with the divinity of pride, since i'm trying to find that right now.

GearNoir, ya, I love the fiendslayer. i'm just trying to find more of them because my local store didn't have any. I have Ajani's Pridemate right now, but don't know what to switch out for. Maybe put 3 and switch out the Soulmender and Sunscorch Regent?
