if a player controls both a Dockside Chef and a Warteye Witch and sacrifices one of those creatures to the chef's ability, can they decide the order in which the creatures' abilities are put onto the stack?

I have replaced Warteye Witch with Phyrexian Vivisector, which decreased this deck's average converted mana cost from 3.18 to 3.17, which is very nice.

DemonDragonJ on Warteye Witch or Phyrexian Vivisector?

I just put a copy of Warteye Witch into my Meren of Clan Nel Toth EDH deck, but another user informed me of Phyrexian Vivisector, so I now am not certain if I should replace the former card with the latter card, or not. The vivisector has lower power and does not trigger from its own death, but it also is less expensive to cast, which can make a major difference in certain situations.

What does everyone else say about this? Should I replace Warteye Witch with Phyrexian Vivisector?

EDIT: I just re-read Phyrexian Vivisector, and it does not specify another creature, so it seems that it does trigger from its own death; will anyone please clarify that matter, for me?

I have replaced Crystal Ball with Warteye Witch, because, as great as the ball is, the witch has very strong synergy with this deck.

DemonDragonJ on Crystal Ball or Warteye Witch?

I have a copy of Crystal Ball in most of my EDH decks, but I am contemplating replacing the copy in my Meren of Clan Nel Toth deck with Warteye Witch, since the witch has obvious synergy with the rest of the deck.

What does everyone else say about this subject? Should I replace Crystal Ball with Warteye Witch?

Correct, if multiple creatures die at the same time, Warteye Witch triggers that many times. Once you find a card you want to keep, you can effectively skip the remaining triggers, unless you really want to look at that card again.

Warteye Witch states scry 1 if she or another creature dies. If a board wipe resolves and kills 10 creatures, do you just scry 1 ten times. Which if you want to keep the first card, you would just choose to keep that card on top 10 times?

Phostration - With that new card I just added, Warteye Witch, I could just scry those unneeded Heartless Summoning and send them to the bottom. It's kind of a solution.
