I'm glad Tsukimi! We have to cultivate the culture & interactions we would like to experience in our digital communities. Setting boundaries with friends can be tough, but will help you avoid that social and brewing burn out.

Yeah, new Vraska looks like she could be pretty fun! I feel like I'm typically most on the same page for brewing with you and KBK7101 lol.

I started brewing Vraska in the past week or so (along with Taii Wakeen, Perfect Shot, Laughing Jasper Flint, Olivia, Opulent Outlaw, and Felix Five-Boots lol). The deck is still kinda rough as I zero in on different ratios for ramp and removal. I've been goldfishing with 3 other tabs open to different friends' decks to get a better idea for some of that pacing. The deck name is in light of some of the more recent Vraska & Jace lore: Petrified by the Gorgussy. Might change that name lol.

Taii Wakeen, Perfect Shot caught my eye, too! But I already have a deck that does something similar with Toralf, God of Fury  ^Flip. Though he cares about excess damage and not exact damage but still.

I'm also kinda weird with my decks but more of in a "build a commander that's flavorful to it's plane" kinda thing. That's what kinda dissuades me away from Kellan, Ghired and others. Which.... turns out to be a real problem with this set when literally every commander is from somewhere else. Still kinda debating Bertram, Bonny Pall and Felix, though. And Jasper, too! At least they all seem like they could be from Thunder Junction.

There were definitely lots of cool options in this set. My one wish-list commander that we didn't get was a new Isshin that had some mechanical flavoring as a nod to Seven Samurai / The Magnificent Seven. That would have been kind of hard to do, but could have been something along the lines of Aurelia, the Law Above.

Vihaan looks pretty fun. I might just build new Olivia, since I already have a lot of the stuff for the deck between what comes in the precon, and what I already have in my collection/Prosper. I am kinda weird in that I don't necessarily like to have multiple decks that use the exact same color combos.

The commanders you all mentioned are really cool. Taii Wakeen, Perfect Shot was one of the others that really caught my eye. I'm def a sucker for commanders that kinda go against the "stereotypes" of what their color combos typically do. Taii Wakeen could be spell slinger or maybe go-wide group slug.

I'm also really stoked for Felix Five-Boots. It tempts me to dust off and re-tool my old Brokkos, Apex of Forever, as it utilized a decent chunk of combat damage based triggers.
