I have replaced Dictate of Karametra and Sphere of Safety with Baird, Steward of Argive and Ms. Bumbleflower, which reduced the average converted mana cost of this deck from 3.48 to 3.45, because I feel that the newer cards better match the theme of this deck.

I absolutely get that. It's the set I've enjoyed the most so far this year in terms of art and flavor. I think this set will also get plenty of people's partners into the game because of cute animals lol. My best friend's partner is going to build Ms. Bumbleflower; she doesn't play very often with us, but she typically plays Bant when she does.

I think Rapacious Guest makes sense as potential swap. It feels the most similar to Ygra in terms of how it can buff itself off Food sacrifice. Best of luck with your first round of edits
