Slight correction, the token created is double faced, and as of the recent Spiderman set, capable of transforming into Drowner of Truth Flip. As Drowned Jungle Flip doesn't have any ability on itself to transform, this is unlikely to matter, but you could theoretically use other cards to transform the token.

I build a Temur ramp deck recently, and as I was playing I came upon a situation that I didn't really consider while brewing.
I have Replication Technique in hand, and a Drowned Jungle Flip on the battlefield, and I was wondering - would casting the Technique on the MDFC land would allow me to put a Drowner of Truth Flip token into play instead of the land token?
No one I was playing with had any idea, and some quick googling I did didn't give me a definitive answer.
