Steely Resolve and Slivers?

I have a Sliver Commander deck and was thinking of throwing in my Steely Resolve to give them some protection while building my army. If I do, does that kill all the sliver synergy I have and prevent them amping each other up??

It turns off some effects like Crypt Sliver, Magma Sliver, etc. by disallowing them to target your slivers with their effects. The static buffs themselves don't target though, so they work through Steely Resolve.

Things like Muscle Sliver's or Gemhide Sliver's ability wouldn't be impeded by Steely Resolve but it would prevent you using anything that specifically uses the word "target" such as Crypt Sliver's ability to regenerate a Sliver or Sliver Overlord's second ability to steal something.
