Could mind bend + Omnath, locus of mana + braid of fire make braid of fire produce green mana for the rest of the game?

I'm working on a deck around Braid of Fire and was wondering if this would be a possibility.

No. The in the text of Braid of Fire is neither a color word, nor a basic land type. It is a mana symbol and is not affected by Mind Bend.

For alternatives, Kruphix, God of Horizons will store that mana as colorless and Upwelling will not allow it dissipate after the upkeep.

Thanks for the answer, could I then change the "green" on Omnath, Locus of Mana to red, or the "colorless" on Kruphix, God of Horizons to red/green?

105.4. If a player is asked to choose a color, he or she must choose one of the five colors. Multicolored is not a color. Neither is colorless.

So yes for Omnath, but no for Kruphix.
