Please link all relevant cards: Archangel Avacyn  Flip, Dragonlord Silumgar (even if you don't, you could at least try to provide the full card name, or clues on which creatures you mean exactly).

no, she would not flip. for multiple reasons. first, the creature that died was never under your control, and avacyn specifies "a non-angel creature you control". second, you have to be controlling the avacyn at the time that the creature you control dies.

colton815, it was specified that the opponent controlled both Avacyn and another creature, Justrecall kills the other creature, triggering Avacyn, and THEN takes control of Avacyn via Silumgar.

I'm fairly certain it would transform, as her delayed triggered ability would trigger, and the fact that she's under another player's control by the time it resolves wouldn't interfere as far as I'm aware.

Tyrant-Thanatos i know exactly what he said, but it still would not flip. the "you" in "non-angel creature you control" refers to current controller, which changes as he takes control of it. once a new player gains control of avacyn, that new player must be the one to have a creature die.

The ability triggers while it's controlled by your opponent and their creature dies, at which point it creates a delayed triggered ability that will trigger during the next upkeep. During the next upkeep your opponent's delayed triggered ability will trigger and they will transform your Archangel Avacyn  Flip despite the fact they no longer control it.

Control of a card changing has no bearing on the conditions for a Triggered ability.

Once the opponent's other creature dies, Avacyn creates its delayed triggered ability for the next upkeep, which simply reads "transform Avacyn" not "transform Avacyn if a non-angel creature you controlled died last turn"

Edit: Neotrup explained it better.
