Best builds to combat Soul Sisters

Pauper forum

My LGS hosts a pauper night every week, and i've been thinking about attending. My friend says that most if not all of the people that do come pilot fairly stock Soul Sisters decks. What builds would combat the archetype the best? I've been thinking either Songs of the Damned 5-color domain, or Trinket Mage toolbox. Ideas?

Thanks for the links guys, but it's not really an answer or remotely constructive. I am well aware of what happens in the pauper format. All the lists i mentioned are well know archetypes. I'm just looking for specific builds that can do well against soul sisters

That link wasn't for you anyway, it was for the lazy guy who doesn't know what a search engine is. As far as Pauper goes, I've never heard of any of those decks being that strong. The strongest ones are usually Mono-U Delver/Faeries, UR Delver Eye Candy, Mono-B which wins with Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Crypt Rats , and then some fringe playables like GW Hexproof, Domain (although I'd never heard of the one you mentioned), or Atog decks (which may have been the RUG from you mentioned?). Look at MTG Goldfish, (coincidentally, one of the top links from my lmgtfy) as they have a list of all the top decks and decklists. I've never really respected Soul Sisters in Modern, and I don't even see how its playable in pauper (without Serra Ascendant or Ajani's Pridemate ). You should be fine honestly. Burn and removal can get it done.

Sweet thanks, i appreciate the tips, The soul sisters lists i've heard of seem to be pretty resistant to burn and removal. Basically white weenie beatdown with crazy amounts of lifegain to outlast other decks. Eye candy, burn, and green based beatdown have apparently done a horrible job against it. (something like 85% of matches are soul sisters mirrors). I'll probably end up running trinket mage toolbok like this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77O6iNo6_iI

Do you have any links to said Soul Sisters decks? The sisters die to removal, and if you're really scared of the deck, use MonoB. Crypt Rats and Pestilence wipe out weenies very easily. Cuombajj Witches as well. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the prevalence of MonoB is the reason I've never seen Soul Sisters in Pauper

Infect is basically designed to be Pauper, and it doesn't care how much life your opponent gains.
