I want a deck that costs around $120. And i want a fun and skill intensive deck. that is competitive I also want a deck that is flexible so i can modify. Example rather then saying Here's my wonder tier 1 budget list i want a sugestion like Well Modern smarfle glarp is a fun interactive control deck that keeps the costs down. The reason i want this is so I can gather more expirence brewing and also so i know the deck inside and out. Thanks Fyr

Unfortunately you're asking a lot for a budget deck in modern. Most successful budget decks in modern are hyper aggressive. One deck I can think of that will require skill, is not hyper aggressive, and is budget would be U/W Spirits. It's not quite control but it is a very tempo-y deck. Out of the sideboard you can become a control deck depending on the matchup. Also U/W spirits doesn't require much brewing because the name points you in the direction of deck building but I imagine there are quite a few flex spots where you can experiment. Hope this helps a little!

hwagner is right - most of the decks that cost $120 and you can take to FNM and not get your butt kicked are highly streamlined linear decks, like Burn or Elves. If you're fine with either of those (Burn in particular has more of a skill cap than what you'd assume at first glance), I'd start there.

Bear in mind, I don't actually know what the 'meta' looks like for your FNM, so you'll have to build a SB that is effective for what people play at shops in your area..

But, for a starting place, I have a self-brewed concoction here that is a lot of fun. Feel free to check it out if you're looking for ideas. -->

Mono Red Hollow One "midrange"

If you manage to snatch Chandra, Torch of Defiance, or Street Wraith for a bit cheaper it would be in budget, and its also extremely effective.
