This week's story shifts focus to a long simmering sibling rivalry; the tale is told through a series of letters delivered; with one exchange hinting at an alliance that has huge implications

Man, I love the siblings. I really love their interactions. I like how the story was written, how Geralf seemed to be more and more tired, how he stopped being a child and became an old man. I love that sorta character progression.

This was a fun read. It almost wants me to build Grimgrin, Corpse-Born again. Too bad I hate blue so much.

But, yeah.... Show

Phaetion - That's not what the story is implying. It seems like Gisa is head-over-heels for Nahiri and that Nahiri is manipulating her to do free labor. Gisa seems to be a willing participant who is ignorant of the true meaning of Nahiri's mission.

Anyone else get a small laugh out of the fact that they call their now-undead mother "Mummy?"

JWiley129: Gisa confirmed as a lesbian. :p

Jokes aside, I would've loved for Wizards to write up more of the siblings's interactions and make it into a book. I'd buy it asap.

It was great to finally have a story that focused on Gisa and Geralf, and to know that they are doing, currently. I am very pleased that they are involved in the story of this block, and the banter between the two of them was very entertaining. It also was nice to learn what Odric has been doing, recently, and it was certainly a surprise to learn that Gisa is working with Nahiri, although I suspect that Nahiri is simply using Gisa, and does not view Gisa the same way that Gisa views her. Ludevic being involved in the story was nice, so I am hoping for him to play a role of some form during the story of this block.

GUYS. Geralf Cecani????

You know who else's last name is Cecani? THATS RIGHT.

GISA.

But in all seriousness, the ex-lunarch's name was Mikaeus Cecani. Was he related the the siblings?

The next bit speaks of Thalia and Odric in opposing sides of the conflict. I assume one means to back Abacyn and the other fight her?

Umm...is one turning evil? I can see Thalia as the one to stand against Avacyn. Thoughts?

April 28, 2016 12:55 p.m.

Wait, what? I didn't see any mention of Thalia at all. Where was that?
