New Format Idea

Due to the helpful advice of these wizards (THANK YOU) I have decided to scratch the old idea off the table. I want to introduce a better idea for a format, a uncommon only (because a lot of my favorite cards are uncommon) format. Basic lands would be playable. I already came up with 3 banned cards Ancient Tomb Sol Ring Bazaar of Baghdad. Anymore bannings would be appreciated. Also a name would be helpful.
Ahem.
Turn 1, Sol Ring into Smuggler's Copter with a Force of Will in hand.
Turn 2, Jace, the Mind Sculptor
GG.
It's stupid and broken. There would literally be NO balance in the format.

Or how about we just forget about reprints. Just include the new cards?

I understand your idea. However, Standard is designed to be good. It's designed to be played with exactly those cards. Throwing in a whole other line of products would mess everything up.
I understand that it could be fun, and I whish some of the Commander cards were playable in non-legacy formats. It's just not possible the way it's made.

Why are all these new format ideas poorly thought out. If you have a new format idea, keep it to yourself, work on it and work out the flaws, rather than spewing it onto the forum.
Stuff like Tiny Leaders opens up interesting deck ideas (or did until the format got solved) and had an interesting set of cards and ban list. Even something like Rainbow Staircase opens up a novel deck building style.

Never say just a quick idea. If you release something publicly it's open to scrutiny. Christ I hate new format ideas.

New format idea! Uhm let's see...
Standard EDH. It's just EDH but only with standard legal cards. What do you think but don't be rude even though I put literally no thought into this.

Previous format idea, basically it was that eternal masters, the commander sets, and conspiracy allowed in standard.

It sounds broken as all hell. These non-standard products usually have cards that aren't modern legal. Sol Ring. The ban list would have to be so enormous you might as well play standard. Christ the legal lands. God the format would just be the worst of standard and the worst of legacy. No thanks.
