This card is puzzling me why its up over 10.00 i believe it will dump soon once people see it is not so great. Test played proxies and its far to slow.

Legendary Spider. That's really the only reason.

Peasants will flock to the card, declaring it a Holy Relic for Commander.

Where do you see $10? I see $3 on the site's tcg price?

Commander is obviously the main culprit, but I don't doubt that there are brewers trying to find a away to make a viable deck around her in standard. B/G/X control decks are where I think we'll see her, if we do at all.

It's being hyped as the best card to beat the even more-hyped spirits deck in standard. Spell Queller can't hit it, and it brings a lot of bodies with reach to the table.

Cant be commander, spiders are too bad to have many people build a deck with her to raise the price. I think it is standard.

Souljacker, since when has a deck being bad ever stopped people from playing it?

There's a decent amount of Standard hype. A lot of players, including some high-profile pros, think that if you're able to consistently cast Ishkanah, Grafwidow with delirium enabled, then it'll become a strong payoff card in GBx decks.

srk it hasn't stopped them totally, but bad decks are played less than good decks, and thus prices for cards in bad decks are usually lower (save for mill).

Alot of card price sites book this card between 10-13 but i dont see it.I dont play commander because its a gimmick format so that may be why.

Lastdaysgunslinger How is Commander a gimmick format? Just curious.

July 22, 2016 10:49 a.m.

No disrespect to edh players, its just a format not in protours an unsupported in any lgs ive been in. Its basically house rules kitchen table format.I play modern an standard. I used to play vintage but i sold out because i was tired of the price gouging.

Lastdaysgunslinger By that logic, Legacy is a gimmick since it's not support in the Pro Tour or at LGS. lol

Personally, every store I've been to holds EDH nights, sometimes as frequently as twice a week. Also, Duel Commander is quite competitive. I'm not offended, but you're idea of EDH is dated and incorrect.

July 22, 2016 12:37 p.m.

I guess to answer your question DrFunk27 its a format that was created to attract more attention to the game just like pauper or tribal.Fun formats if your into them but i just dont play it.

Lastdaysgunslinger To each their own of course. I just wouldn't go around calling it a gimmick because you personally don't play. Gimmick tends to have a negative tone to it. ;)

July 22, 2016 12:41 p.m.

Maybe but it is what it is. Gimmick to me just means something that isnt quite as important and is used to attract attention. To me EDH fits that category. As i said though my comment wasnt meant to disrespect EDH players. The game is about fun an everyone has their own version.

I believe it's the case stated above. This card is a really good payoff card for decks that are able to turn delirium on extremely quickly in Standard. At the first Eldritch Moon Legal FNM last night, I had it in my delirium deck and it helped me beat Humans and Zombies when I didn't have Languish. Because I was able to block It also helps that it blocks with a Spider Token to kill Archangel Avacyn  Flip and kills Gisela, the Broken Blade by itself. And survives both. As well as helps against Spirit decks.

That being said. I can see this easily being a $5-$7 card due to its Mythic rarity. If it was a Rare; it would probably drop down to around $3-$5

I agree with IzzetGod. It has utility, but I still think that 5 cost is too hefty to build around. It might block some things, but it isn't usually pulling you ahead, just sometimes helping you catch up. Good enough to see play for sure though.
