So I bought a box of AKH and opened a Force of Will Invocation. I don't have a deck to use it in. Should I keep it to trade or sell it at my gamestore?

Sell it online as you'll make more money, if you sell it to the store it wont worth it as they have to undercut to make their profits. And sell it quick because force has been tanking heavy the last week (like 250--->200-->190 tanking)

Buddy opened one. Sold it. Good call.

Yeah, I doubt Force of Will Invocation would ever drop below a certain price, but it is tanking fast because it doesn't seem to be very collectible.

What's the community response to the design of the Invocation cards? I dislike them, and I've read/seen them criticized for their visual choices. I'm getting the sense that this cycle isn't going to be particularly prized.

Initial response was terrible. People have warmed up to them slightly since launch, but they remain rather niche.

For the most part they screwed up, but I do like Pact of Negationwith the frame, I feel like that one they got right for whatever reason

Honestly, I have a bunch of issues with them. First, I feel like the art is amazing, but the art box was made too small to accommodate the border. While I think the border looks okay, I don't care for this trade off.

I also feel like the foiling looks cheap, unfortunately, so it's got that strike against it for me.

Lastly, I don't know what it is about the frame, but it makes the image look... sunken in? The frame itself feels like it's forward, while the image feels like it's in the back, making the image feel even smaller.

Something that actually looks better in person than through mythic spoiler is the name text, so it did improve for me in that regard.

Over all, I'm keeping the Austere Command I opened, but the invocations were a miss for me.

I almost sold my Oketra the True masterpiece which I opened from a prerelease kit, but I decided to use it as my commander. My call was good, as the card as dropped from $50 to $32 on eBay - with those low returns I'm better off just enjoying the card.

I’m actually trying to sell mine for $200 do you know anyone who wants it for that price?

You just replied to a year old thread. If you're trying to get rid of a FoW invocation, you could try posting a thread on The Trading Post, one forum categories on TappedOut. I'm not sure people would be willing to trade or buy from you, however, as trades on TappedOut are largely honor-based and you have practically zero activity here. You could try ebay, buylisting it, or selling it to your local shop.
