Need to counter a Phyrexian Infect Deck

It's a prototype, don't have mana right now and I'm just kind of collecting cards to throw together. He's currently in the other room building his, so I just want to be able to be prepared. We play casual with no card bans or deck limits, by the way.

As an infect player, the three cards that really piss me off the most are Spellskite , Melira, Sylvok Outcast , and Path to Exile .

If you are to fight him again, I would recommend the Janosch Kühn deck.
Now its a little expensive but you could perhaps kill him before he can do real damage to you. A simple Disintegrate should do.

To beat Infect, one plays removal spells. One plays creatures that can block, as well as forms of disruption such as discard spells or counterspells. One does not simply find a hard "counter" to an infect deck, one plays cards that interfere with their primary game plan. One should not play the (outside of the Infect matchup) miserable excuse for a creature called Melira, Sylvok Outcast . A Spellskite or two should be pretty good as well.

Or you could play green super pump infect. I have a pauper deck that can win turn 2, or go unblockable turn 3. Turns 3/4 are fairly normal, and it is cheap. Septic Sanity if you want to check it out.
You could run Leeches
for fun. They are prob not expecting that.

best solution for infect is board wipe and removal.. Black Sun's Zenith vs infect is awesome... Dead Weight , Tragic Slip , etc..
