Looking to keep all ten at the same CMC, but the effect of giving the keyword to other cards seems fine at a CMC of five, but six might be better. Any input?

What rarity? I love the concept! LOVE IT!

Though, they suck in real play. Way too high CMC to ever be played. If common or uncommon, then it's fine! But if rare, ugh...

Decree of the Lich Lord, Decree of the Ghost Council, Decree of the Dracogenius already exist, sometimes for cheaper then the card here.

This seems like a lot of fun though (I love cycles!!!) but unfortunately would never see play...

A few of them need some revising in how they work. For example, effectively, as it's worded, Decree of the Dracogenius does nothing, because once you've cast a spell, you can't go back and cast it for alternate costs like Overload. It would need to grant the keyword to cards in your hand. Additionally, you start having an issue with cards that target any creatures or target players; notice that most Overload cards say "target creature/permanent/etc you don't control" so that the Overload doesn't wipe your own board when you cast Cyclonic Rift or something. Then there are also multiple-player targeting effects on what are designed as point and shoot spells, etc. The card creates headaches IMO

Actually the Dracogenius one was the one that inspired it all for me. I wish they had made something that literally turned targeted effects into universal effects.

So the wording should be:

Decree of the Dracogenius

Enchantment

Instant and Sorcery cards in your hand have Overload equal to twice their mana cost.

Rarity doesn't really matter outside of the context of a block.

Also, Decree of the Warleader is extremely ineffective, and entirely out of place with Boros. I don't know how to fix that, but it isn't what I think it should be.

Yeah I thought about how would I give battalion to other creatures, and I'm still thinking about it.

Decree of the Mastermind should not give cypher to instants. there has yet to be a instant with cypher because it would be too overpowered most instants. you could wait until after blockers are declared then cast Lightning Bolt and deal 6 damage to the face for .

@CrazyLittleGuy: not all overload spells targeted opponent's stuff. there was Dragonshift, Dynacharge, Mizzium Skin, Teleportal, and Weapon Surge.

You're right, I'll change that Decree to just sorceries.

Battalion - Whenever Decree of the Warleader and at least two other creatures attack,...How would your enchantment attack?

March 9, 2015 9:17 p.m.

EridanWwins Whenever three or more creatures attack...

Though it would be a bit weird.

That's not how battalion is worded is the issue. Battalion is always "whenever this creature and at least two other creatures attack, do X."

How about this:

Creatures you control have "Battalion - Whenever this creature and at least two other creatures attack, you may sacrifice this creature. If you do, return target creature card with Battalion from your graveyard to the battlefield (maybe tapped and attacking?)."

It's long, but goodish?
