So I found some cards I made a while back. I'm trying to get some feedback on them. Here is the sixteenth:

Exyz, Patron of Reverse

Legendary Creature - Elemental Shaman

At the beginning of each upkeep, switch each creature's power and toughness until end of turn.

Whenever a player casts a spell, another player chosen at random gains control of it. That player may choose new targets for that spell.

2/2

Feels way off, flavorwise. Neither of those abilities are something black does. Specifically, the second ability feels blue and/or red.

Historically, the first effect is reserved for green. The second is quite random, so red is an option. But this does not feel Gruul. Making it a Jund card will fit the colors very well.

Rule text clean up:

Creatures deal damage equal to their toughness.
If a creature is dealt damage equal to or greater than its power, it is destroyed.
Whenever a player casts a spell, another player chosen at random gains control of it. That player may choose new targets for that spell.

Make it an enchantment that costs and we have a deal! This is awesome!

I must say that the first ability doesn't make much sense and that this card looks overdesigned. Try to find a good template for your effects and maybe split them up as they don't have any relation to each other.

This is /. Power/toughness switching effects are historically in blue and occasionally in red (Crookclaw Transmuter, About Face, Wandering Fumarole, Twisted Image come to mind immediately), and with the randomness of the last effect, this card is definitively /.

Also, Boza, there has never been a card that switches power and toughness in green-at least that I could find.

Well, I was referring more to the Assualt Formation/Doran, the Siege Tower ability. PT switching in UR is only until end of turn. This one is permanent, so it is more akin to the Doran ability than Inside Out.

Hence, I have written it out so it makes some sense, because, as written the card will create memory issues out the wazoo (have no idea if this is even an actual expression).

While I understand what you're referring to, those effects don't actually switch power and toughness; they just make your creatures deal damage based on toughness, ignoring their power. Only / can switch the two, which is what this card is, basically, doing.
