Temur Lands?

Commander (EDH) forum

Typically, Lands decks either go Gruul or Golgari (for The Gitrog Monster). Except I went onto EDHrec and looked into Patron of the Moon, and saw how a mana symbol umana symbol rmana symbol g lands deck was possible.

Problem is...who is the best general for the job? None of them assist the theme, and would serve as a red herring. Theoretically, I could go nephilim and exclude white, but I find the Temur option more attractive.

Honestly, I'd suggest either Surrak for protecting your creatures from counters or Intet, the Dreamer just because he's about as vanilla as you can get without going against your gameplan.

If you never cast your commander, then it matters little which of the 6(?) legendaries you have access to are filling the slot. I suppose the best way of thinking would be figure out which would be nice to have access to whenever you want it. If you're ramping a lot, Maelstrom Wanderer might be the best plan.

Riku of Two Reflections could also fill this void. I'm torn between him and Wanderer, because they seem to be the best options for the job.

First Iteration. I'm over 100, and I need to trim it down. Right now, there's a part of me that's thinking it's a bad idea for some reason. Maybe it's because there were cards in Gruul I liked, like Akoum Hellkite. Maybe I could push this to 150 and make the deck random...except performance will be imapcted.

I've been thinking things over. I decided to forsake blue. It pushed the deck in a direction that I don't approve of. Right now, I'm eyeing red. I may or may not remove it. Problem is that I cannot be sure of myself right now outside of blue's elimination.
