Juniper Order Ranger or Mikaeus, the Lunarch?

I am currently constructing an EDH deck with Atraxa, Praetors' Voice as the general, and that deck contains Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit, but I plan to replace her with either Juniper Order Ranger or Mikaeus, the Lunarch, but I need to decide which card is better, so I shall compare them in this thread.
Juniper Order ranger
+Ability does not require any mana or tapping the creature.
+Ability also makes the ranger more powerful.
-Ability is reliant upon creatures entering the battlefield.
Mikaeus, the lunarch
+Lower mana cost.
+Ability can be used at any time, regardless of when creatures enter the battlefield.
-Ability requires that Mikaeus be tapped, limiting it to once per turn (although my deck shall also contain a Seedborn Muse, enabling the ability to be used multiple times).
-Ability weakens Mikaeus (but, with this deck, there shall be no shortage of methods for placing additional +1/+1 counters on him).
What does everyone else say about this? Which creature should I choose?

griffstick, thank you for that feedback, but I actually found a way to have both creatures in my deck; I removed Echoes of the Kin Tree from it, because Mikaeus is superior to it in almost every way.

In Atraxa Mikaeus, the lunarch I think is better. You can play him for 2 mana. And never worry about tapping him to to make him bigger
