Is Bosh worth it as a Commander?

Is Bosh, Iron Golem worth it as a commander? Or is his cost to high for his ability?

Seems like you can run anything as a commander if you really want to. This guy seems best in a deck centered around card advantage artifacts such as Spine of Ish Sah and Ichor Wellspring. Obviously it is a bit mana hungry so a lot of artifact centered ramp seems like a necessity. Playing Goblin Welder and Trading Post could continue to help you grind unneeded artifacts into more value.
Short answer, really any legend with a somewhat unique ability can be built around IMO.

I might be ignorant on this, but is there anything that Bosh would be able to do of value that would make him a better commander than Daretti, Scrap Savant? They seem like they would command practically the same deck style.

I do not think he is better than other options for the "big red" commander. Daretti, feldon are quite better.
